Αργυρό μετάλλιο κατέκτησε το Σάββατο ο Γιάννης Κυριαζής στο Ευρωπαϊκό Πρωτάθλημα στίβου Νέων, που διεξάγεται στο Μπίντγκοζ της Πολωνίας.
Ο 21χρονος αθλητής κατέκτησε τη δεύτερη θέση στον ακοντισμό με καλύτερη βολή στα 81,04μ., εξασφαλίζοντας το ασημένιο μετάλλιο.
Νικητής του αγώνα ήταν ο Ούγγρος Νόρμπερτ Ρίβαζ-Τοτ με 83.08μ., επίδοση που αποτελεί εθνικό ρεκόρ, ενώ την τριάδα του βάθρου συμπλήρωσε ο Μολδαβός Αντριάν Μαρντάρε με 78.76μ.
